About Sandy

Speak Easily is me, and I’m the person you will be working with.

I train a very wide range of people, from chief executives to job seekers, sole traders like myself, managers, business owners and students – and new television presenters.

I’m also an associate and consultant with several larger training organisations, including Positive People Consultants, Masterclass and Centre4Learning.

My background is broadcasting, in both radio and television. I started my career with the BBC World Service as an announcer and studio manager and then in production for BBC Television and a number of independent production companies. I’ve worked in publishing, in business, in the media, with actors and with several first-rate training companies. I’m also a qualified life coach.

In 1992 I joined an actor-led presentation training company to organise their media training programme and for whom I designed and delivered a variety of presentation courses.

In 1996 I became an associate adviser and accredited training consultant in communication skills with the Industrial Society in Central London, delivering public and in-house courses in presentation, assertiveness, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, customer care and presenting for interviews.

I’ve been working as an independent trainer for fifteen years. I believe that anyone, given the right training and encouragement, can learn to speak confidently and comfortably, effectively and easily in front of an audience of any size, in any arena and enjoy the experience.

“What I like about the way Sandy works is her obvious enthusiasm for the subject and the care she takes to meet her delegates’ needs. She is very careful to create a learning environment where people are challenged but feel supported.”
